The former royal
capital, Krakow, is one of the most beautiful cities you will find in Poland.
It stands proud on the banks of the River Vistuala and charms all who visit this
magical city.
Having withstood the destruction that Warsaw suffered
during World War II, Krakow has many well preserved architectural monuments. The
medieval city centre was entered in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Market
Square, Gothic Cloth Hall, St Mary's Basilica, The Wawel Royal Castle and the
Jewish district of Kazamierz, are a must see for every visitor.
We have no hesitation in recommending this treasure
of European Cities.
